Rescue Diver

This course provides you with knowledge on stress and rescue issues at all stages of scuba diving and practical skills on various underwater rescue techniques. The execution of scuba diving will be within the limits of the safety curve using binary mixtures.

You will learn to prevent and manage problems in the water, as well as to become more aware as a diver, knowing that, in case of need, you can help others.

Program

➞ Duration of theory lessons: 14 hours.

➞ Modules: 6. Written theory exams: 7, one at the end of each module.

➞ Maximum percentage of errors allowed: 20%.

➞ Open water dives: 4 within 30m and 4 between 30 and 40m.

➞ Maximum residence time for each dive: within the No Decompression Limits.

➞ Evaluation of the psycho-aptitude profile of the student: binding for the issue of the patent.

➞ Standard for open water diving: maximum depth: 20 meters.

➞ Maximum time for completing the course: 6 months from the date of the first theory lesson. After this deadline, the course must be repeated entirely.

Entry Requirements

➞ Minimum level of diving certification: Advanced Scuba Diver or equivalent.

➞ Minimum number of logged dives: 30.

➞ Medical certificate of fitness for diving activities issued by a sports or hyperbaric doctor.

➞ Minimum age: 16 years. If a minor, the student must submit written authorization from the parent and/or guardian with prior personal verification by the instructor of the authenticity of the declaration.
